Okay…you’re going to think I’ve lost my mind, but I’m so excited about this, I wanted to let you know. And yes…it has to do with dark chocolate; it’s health benefits; reducing the inflammation in my body; and what I am now doing because of it. I know this may sound crazy, but I’ve become a believer in the past couple of weeks
All you have to do is “google dark chocolate” and you’ll see thousands of results of the health benefits. You will not find any negatives in regards to this type of chocolate. It’s been on Oprah, Dr. Oz, and many, many news channels.
My family and I go up to Oregon twice a year to see family (we live in Arizona now). EVERYTIME I go up there, I run into a very good friend I competed against in Track and Field in high school. He went on to play 9 years in the NFL and now is a successful entrepreneur.
The past few years he would tell me about this chocolate he’s been eating and how good he feels. And imagine, the pain his body has endured from 9 years getting beat up in the NFL? He’s a prime gineau pig. Anyways, I kept blowing him off, until THIS CHRISTMAS! I gave in and told him to give me some.
I was very skeptical, but I took it home with me and start eating the prescribed 3 pieces a day. What happened next I can’t even believe I’m telling you. You see…I’ve had 9 surgeries from my athletic days in track and field (long jump, javelin, then decathlon). A blown out knee that is now bone-on-bone (it’s been killing me for the past 4 years).
I’m not a big believer in pill popping, although, I’ve had to these past few years to avoid a knee replacement at the age of 46
It was upsetting my stomach, so now I was getting digestion problems. Well, this friend told me to stop taking the pills, and just take the dark chocolate. I did!
Results?
It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I truly cannot believe how much better I feel
My body from all my injuries, and I still train hard 6 days a week, is always aching somewhere. It could be my knee one day. My elbow the next. My shoulder. You get the picture.
So I called my buddy up and told him I NEED MORE
I found out this chocolate is not just some chocolate you go to the store and get. It’s not available in stores! It’s a proprietary blend of raw chocolate (unprocessed cacao), acai berries, blueberries and concord grapes, and several other all natural, healthy fruits. It is loaded with the highest amount of antioxidants in the world. Cacao and Acai are at the very top.
I had a couple of options in regards to getting it, but I like this so much, and wanted to share the opportunity with my family, friends and acquaintences that I became a distributor to get it at wholesale. The really cool thing about this is I can actually make some additional money sharing this awesome, healthy chocolate and so can you
I did not originally write this post to talk about making money from your home, but because I have fully researched this company, and the big factor was my NFL buddy who has been in it for 2 years (and doing very well), I feel comfortable talking about it here on my “golf blog”.
If you want to find out more about getting this chocolate to reduce inflammation, aches and pains, and many other health benefits, you can go to Healthy Chocolate and find out more. Or, just contact me personally by using the contact form at the top of this page, and I can share even more with you. I can even get my buddy on the phone personally to tell you about it
By the way, the one I’m eating right now is called XoBiotic Squares, because it not only has all the above mentioned healthy ingredients, but it is probiotics, for healthy digestion, and I can say, unequivocally, my stomach is feeling much better

Hey Mike!
I love your blog, and seeing this post really peaked my curiousity. So are you saying this is, or can be a home-based business? If so, I am in between jobs, and my wife loves chocoloate, so I am very interested in learning more. If you could contact me I would really appreciate it.

Mike,
How do you make money referring this chocolate? I just recently lost my job, and desperately need another source of income to provide for my family.
Hope to hear from you SOON!

Be careful with taking too much chocolate. I had the same experience of finding amazing benefits in it and took it every day for about 6 months.
However, then after about 6 months I experienced adrenal burnout and after some research traced the problem back to the chocolate.
Raw organic chocolate contains quite a high amount of caffeine and other substances that can over stimulate the adrenal glads. This is why you feel so great when you are taking it, but over stimulating the adrenal can lead to serious problems if it happens on a regular basis.
Over a year later now, and I’m still exhausted all day long, I can’t work out and the idea of golfing is just a dream.
Careful of anything that has magical effects on the body, there is always a hidden cost.

Actually the “raw cacao” that is used has ONLY trace amounts of caffeine
Most commercial chocolates ADD CAFFEINE to their chocolate. This company does not!
Check the ingredients of these chocolates. You won’t see much caffeine, if not any at all.

That’s exactly what I was told when I took a course about how to use raw organic chocolate for health benefits. It isn’t just the caffeine, there are other chemicals in it and they “can” all cause problems.
“Chocolate and raw cacao contain significant levels of theobromine, theophylline, caffeine and phenylethlamine. Any plants that contain chemicals ending with the suffix “ine” can do harm and hurt the body if used habitually.”
Anyways, if you’re like me you need to learn by experience, I have been through hell after eating this stuff (no golf or working out for over a year, is like a prison sentence) so I felt compelled to say something when I read your post.
All the best.

It almost sounds like you had an allergic reaction to it. Every person’s body responds differently to food, supplements, etc…
But…with that being said…I think too much of anything is not good
Your responses are very aggressive and may close off the mind of people who eat the junk, commercial chocolate with HIGH sugar, added preservatives, chemicals, CAFFEINE, etc…!
To each their own…but for anyone reading this thread, don’t be alarmed, as I have never heard such a strong reaction to chocolate like this. I mean…a YEAR…really???? Hmmm????
You can also go to MyDrChocolate.com to see all the studies done!
Cheers,
Mike
P.S. I have removed the link you added, as that is not a credible site. There is so much crap on the Internet, and unless it’s from a credible source, I don’t waste my time reading it. There are very strange people out there with strange, strange mental and emotional issues, and they’ll say anything on a blog or website. That’s not a reflection on you this time, but that site is not credible. Send me to WebMD, Mayo, or any of those and I’ll listen

I finally have a reason to justify eating a daily dose of that smooth, creamy, chocolatey goodness! I have researched and found ten great health benefits that come from including a moderate amount of dark chocolate in my diet. Thanks for sharing some healthy facts. Good luck.

Lisa,
Just remember that most, if not all commercial dark chocolate is processed and has on a fraction of the very valuable antioxidants that make raw, unprocessed dark chocolate so very healthy.
You can go to My Dr. Chocolate to find many studies for the specific chocolate I’m referring to and eat every day
Cheers,
Mike
