Senior Golfers: Get The Hump Out Of Your Back

Posted by Mike in Improve Golf Swing

poor golf postureA common occurrence on the golf course with most golfers over the age of 50 is poor golf posture. When they address the ball, they’ve got that big hump in their upper back.

That hump is a power-zapping issue!

If you’ve been wondering why you’re not hitting the ball as far as you use to, this could be it. I know for me, I catch myself hunching over in my swing, and when I do I make a conscious act to straighten back up.

To get the correct golf posture is easy once you know what to do. But if you ignore this, your hopes of hitting it longer are pretty much out the door!

;-) As a 65 year old I am guilty of hunching over the ball and I am going to try and use your tip.

Great point. The set up posture is so important for a good swing and saves the back as well. Thanks for the post.
