I know for most of you time is something you don’t have. With work, commute and family obligations you have no time left to work on your game. With that being said, I want to show you how easy it is to do simple golf exercise routines “in your office” that can add yards to your drives, eliminate aches and pains, and quickly improve your overall game.
You don’t need to leave your office and go to a gym to do the exercises I’m referring to. With one simple piece of affordable equipment, you can do it in 30 seconds, but reap the benefits of strengthening your golf specific muscles, which will result in much longer drives.
Exercise Tubing (with handles and door attachment)

One piece of equipment you’ll see in the above picture you must get right now is golf exercise tubing! This tubing has handles and can be attached to any door (but you need a door attachment), so you can make golf swings right in your office (make sure to lock the door so somebody doesn’t come in while you’re doing it).
Golf Specific Exercises
The quickest way to see improvement in your golf power and distance is doing resistance (in this case tubing) exercises specific to your golf swing. You can accomplish this by breaking up the swing into phases, or you can make an entire golf swing with a weighted golf club to get maximum benefit from the exercise.
Golf Downswing With Tubing
The exercise I want to show you today is a golf specific downswing exercise with tubing attached to the top of your “closed” office door.
Just look at this picture of me in my home office doing a simple downswing with tubing. I do this all the time and it has helped me add many yards to my drives. I do this move 15-20 times a day and get a good burn in my golf specific downswing muscles.
See how simple this is? No excuse not to go out and get this tubing and start doing it asap! It will take you 30 seconds to accomplish this exercise and it will be a nice break in the middle of your day.
Make sure to envision hitting longer drives as you’re doing this exercise, so the next time you hit the course it WILL HAPPEN!
This simple golf exercise is one of dozens of exercises and full golf programs in my golf fitness manual.

One of the nice things about the tubing is that it can be taken anywhere. People who travel a lot for their jobs often have limited time to take advantage of hotel exercise facilities. The tubing is easy to pack, takes little space and gives the opportunity to get in a workout.

It’s both portable and inexpensive compared to fitness equipment and a gym membership

Great tips, Mike. As we all spend most of our time in the office, this would provide some good use of “idle” time
.
It would be good to know some exercises that do not need these equipments, so that I can do them during meetings, maybe…

Yeah…your bosses would love that right! Just tell them it’s for your golf/client relationships
