Hit more balls, take more lessons…it doesn’t matter! You WILL NOT improve this swing flaw UNLESS you address the physical cause, as I am doing in the above video. This is just one example of how “fixing your body” will quickly improve your golf swing.

Hi Mike,
That’s a nice and easy one that I know helps. But, I learned (the hard way) to start with light weights. This puts more strain us than we think… and sometimes isn’t evident until a day or two later.
But, big benefit for those who take the time to do it.

Hi Mike
Good video tip! This is a weak area for me so I’ll give this excercise a try.
My swing has been described as being quite ‘flat’ which I think means that my swing plane is quite flat
. Do you think this excercise might help me to correct this or should I be doing another excercise or stretch along side this one
Your advice on this sort of issue is really valuable
.
Best wishes,
Mark.

Mark,
I don’t want to say that this one exercise will fix your swing flaw, but it would definitely help make your swing more vertical and not so flat.

Great stuff as always Mike, I’ll have to work on this, as my shoulder certainly doesn’t seem to be as flexible as I may have thought!
