They say 80% of all amateur golfers play with back pain at some point in their playing days. Wow! That’s a HUGE number. More golfers are realizing the physical demands on the body from the swing and are FINALLY taking action to prevent it. But…if you’ve currently got back pain, you need to get RELIEF as soon as possible!
Here’s a great video clip from a back pain relief program that EVERY golfer with back pain should take a serious look at:
I strongly recommend this back pain relief for golfers product!

A well-constructed exercise program will help to strengthen your back and abdominal muscles that will help to stabilize your trunk during movement. Most people don’t realize that strong abdominal muscles are just as important as strong back muscles in the prevention of back pain and the avoidance of injury. A professionally designed exercise program will also focus on improving your flexibility to further decrease the chance of injuring your back. If required, your program should also help you to lose excess weight so that your spine is not under increased stress. It is imperative that you undergo an assessment protocol to determine your needs, strengths and
weaknesses prior to the design of your program.

Yes…you are very lucky. Even as hard as I work out I have a “structural” issue which causes pain every single day

Nice video…. Agreed, back pain stinks.. Especially if you encounter in on a daily basis. I used to get it all the time, a friend of mine convinced me to try yoga and since then, no more back pain. Check it out, might help..

I suffered from back attacks for years. I did two things that helped: changed my stroke by consulting an excellent teaching pro who is about my general build (but 30 years younger) and got Golf Rx, a book on golf-specific stretches for golfers of all ages and abilities, by Vijay Vad, MD

That’s great! Obviously you never got my golf fitness book
Oh well!

I suffer from back pain and have your golf fitness book. I’m curious which stretch is the “most important stretch” as advertised on your website? Also, I’d like to know which exercise is the best exercise to improve balance that you mentioned on your site? I’ve tried e-mailing you without response. Page numbers would be fine.
Thanks Mike.

After coming back from a chiropractic appointment last week, I am hesitant to jump back out onto the course before spending some time stretching and getting healthy again.
