I played golf today with my very good bud Dave Wetter on our “home course” Dove Valley Golf Club, and Dave had a HOLE IN ONE! It was AWESOME to watch! That was his 3rd hole in one, which is 3 more than me
It was the 13th hole playing 141 yards and he hit this “lazy” little draw that landed short, but on the green, but continued to roll IN THE CUP!
Get this! He hadn’t played in 5 weeks!
Dave…you DA MAN! Congrats Dude!

Hey Rick…notice the bag with the “noodler’s” name on it

Noodler Man! Congrats and great bag! We missed you at our last tournament, hard hitting the center of the fairway without you there!

There’s something about a hole-in-one that always brings a smile on to your face. I can only imagine the joy your friend must have felt but considering that this is his third hole-in-one, I guess we can say that he is probably used to it by now.
But one thing is for sure, there is no greater feeling for someone who aces a hole and also has video footage to prove it. A friend playing on the local tour over herehad a hole in one in the second hole and it was captured by the camera. Poor chap was so thrilled with that stroke of luck that he forgot to keep his enthusiasm in check and his game unraveled after that. Finally, he registered a 90, which was unfortunate because he started off the tournament with a 67. This same chap once had two hole-in-ones and an eagle in a single round. Some people are just blessed, I guess!
Cheers

Andy,
Isn’t that the game of golf
Hole-in-one then “blow up” after that…LOL!
I have never gotten one, but up in rainy Oregon, I plugged a ball on the fly an inch from the cup
