Low Back Pain Solved!

I have had back pain since my sophomore year in high school. My low back has never, ever felt 100% pain-free since that day. Back pain relief, especially for my golf has always been a dream of mine, until now.

Let me tell you my back injury story.

Going into high school I was an all-state track and field athlete in several events. Track was my life! I excelled at it, and worked very hard to take it as far as I could. Initially I was a jumper (long jump and triple jump). At the time, I broke the state freshman long jump AND triple jump record, which was pretty cool at the time

Going into my sophomore year, I was picked to place in the top 3 in both jumps, so it was pretty exciting. Well, that all changed in our first Invitational of the season. I was triple jumping, and in the first round pop a pretty good one that was leading the meet. I wanted to amp it up a bit, as there was a decent crowd in the bleachers, and then my world changed…forever!

I came down the runway, and on my skip phase came down on a STIFF leg that locked and jammed into my hip running nearly full speed. It took me straight to the ground before I even got to the pit (sand).

I was stunned

I got up kind of embarrassed, but I did something very, very stupid after that. With an injured back, I tried ONE MORE JUMP.

STUPID, STUPID, STUPID !!

They took me first to a chiropractor who took an x-ray and came in to my room to “rock my world”. He told me I had severely compressed my L5-S1 vertebrae, and that it was so bad, I would never ever not feel pain.

Unbelievable!

Without writing a novel here, I rehabbed it, finished the season in pain, and just dealt with it through the rest of my competitive athletic career. I can remember throwing the javelin in the state championship both my junior and senior years wearing a big, old-school weight lifting belt to keep me lower back intact when I planted right before each throw .

Fast forward to now. Fanatic golfer, always having pain, but still taking a big swipe at the ball to hit it as long as I could

Because I have been a fitness professional and in excellent physical condition, my low back pain has been manageable but still an annoyance (til now). So it goes to show you, if you do not have a specific back pain program, even if you’re currently exercising, it may not help.

Lucky for me, I came across a website for Back Pain Relief.

It looked really comprehensive with lots of great information and tons of people telling their stories. I took the plunge! The really cool thing is they have a 21 day trial, so there is no risk to give it a try, but I was so determined to make it work I just bought it up front without the trial.

That was 38 days ago.

Results?

I am 98% pain-free in my back For me that’s huge! What it’s done to my golf swing is unbelievable! I don’t have to hold back in fear my back will hurt! And…I added a quick 8 yards to my already long drives, which was an added bonus.

Would I recommend this back pain relief product to golfers? Are you kidding me? Absolutely! If you are a golfer with back pain, you have to give this a try! I mean…21 day trial with no risk to you? Come on…that’s an awesome offer, and tells you the confidence they have in their product.

You can find out more about this awesome back pain relief program by clicking on the image below. You won’t regret it!

I’m sitting here watching Tiger on the 18th hole at the US Open Golf Championship on Saturday. The guy is an ANIMAL! His golf injury to his knee is absolutely KILLING him. Will he make his eagle putt? I’ll tell you in about 10 seconds as he is getting ready to putt. Come on Tiger…make this thing!

HE MADE IT! Oh My God! There is NO one EVER like this guy!!! What an absolute STUD! Wow!

This guy IS THE TOUR! He brings SO MUCH EXCITEMENT to the game! Can you tell I’m a bit juiced up right now? Wow!

Now…lets talk about his golf injury and why he even has it.

We all talk about Tigers Workout Routine and how dedicated he is to it, but nobody talks about the swing he makes at the ball and the stress, torque and abuse he puts his body through.

No one else on tour could do what he is doing? The guy today was in sheer pain! Just think if he hadn’t been in such awesome shape? He wouldn’t being playing pro golf I can tell you.

What can he do from here?

Well…the ONLY choice he has is to modify his golf swing. He cannot continue swinging like he has and have any longevity on tour. There is NO WAY POSSIBLE! He needs to keep stress off that lead knee. The way he staps it back and into a nearly locked position is brutal on the ligaments and cartilage in his knee. This continued abuse will leave his knee bone-on-bone with no cartilage and pain every day of his life.

I am a HUGE Tiger Woods fan, and he makes my business fitness for golf much easier to sell to golfers. But this injury goes beyond even his high fitness level and into a realm none of us even want to think about. Which could be no more Tiger Woods on tour in the next couple of years

I am pulling for Tiger tomorrow to win this thing on sheer guts! Come on BIG GUY!

Statistics show golfers are in pain. The low back is the main culprit. I want to show you a simple exercise you can do that will help prevent pain from recurring in your lower back, but first you must recognize how physically damaging the golf swing is to your body.

If you don’t recognize it, you won’t put a high enough importance on it and will continue to experience low back pain and stiffness indefinitely.

Just look at the mechanics of the golf swing. You are in this very unnatural position called golf posture. With the forward tilt you’re in, your back is already under strain, so it’s no wonder golfers have low back pain , but lets continue with this.

So we’re in this uncomfortable forward tilt that promotes strain and we’re going to swing a 3 foot long club around our bodies in this position? From a biomechanical standpoint, you could easily think this is physically impossible. But no…we golfers will hack away all day long no matter what right?

So with this much potential damage to your body from this “leisure game”, do you think it’s necessary to build up your body to help prevent this? Or, should you just keep hacking balls, playing and hope you don’t get hit with this debilitation?

My guess is you’re smarter than that, and you’ll realize you must do something. This something is stretches for golf, and golf strength training.

The stronger and more flexible you get your golf-specific muscles, the far lessor chance you’ll ever have of getting injured from golf . All it takes is really easy and simple exercises done daily to cure this problem and be pain-free forever. But…you must be diligent with them or you won’t get the results you are looking for.

You probably have seen this exercise (see below) many times, if so, have you done it? No…I mean have you done it consistently? Like everyday? If not, do this one first thing in the morning when you wake up. Do 3 sets of 10 and you’ll be off and running.

Notice how my arms are wide? That gives me an added exercise for the muscles between my shoulder blades to help maintain a nice spine angle in my golf swing. I keep my arms like this the entire time I do the set, which is just raising and lowering my upper body on the ball.

Give this exercise a try and you’ll kiss your low back pain good-bye forever!

Many golfers experience golfers elbow during their playing days. This is a painful and drawn out injury that can linger for months if not treated carefully. Your main goal should be to find a cure and take care of it asap.

This injury usually occurs in the lead arm, caused by chronic over-gripping of the club, or hitting repetitive fat shots that go directly into this area of the arm.

Poor swing technique is the culprit, and until you improve your swing, you will expose your body to numerous injuries.

1. Rest And Ice. Just like any other injury, you need to discontinue doing what’s causing the pain and ice it 3-4 times a day for the next few days. Continuing to agitate an injury will only prolong the recovery and potentially create a chronic situation where you’ll be dealing with it for many years.

This threat to your golf game should be taken seriously . You need to listen to your body and act accordingly. In this situation, REST is of the utmost of importance. Ice is a neccessity to eliminating the inflammation causing the pain.

If you can, wrap the ice pack firmly on the painful area. This is called compression and will speed up the elimination of any swelling or inflammation. Also, lie down and have the elbow elevated on a pillow to increase blood flow to the injured area.

2. Wear An Elbow Strap. Although this isn’t a cure, this will allow you to play during your rehabilitation. Look at the picture of the golfer above wearing an elbow strap. This is what I’m talking about. Just remember…the goal is to cure your elbow injury and NOT have to wear this long-term.

This is a short-term fix, but for you fanatic golfers, it will get you back on the course with a reduction in the pain while you’re playing. Do not use this strap as a “bandaide” fix, without properly treating this injury and eliminating it for good.

3. Elbow Injury Stretches. Stretching the specific muscles involved with gripping will help prevent golfers elbow from reoccurring. If you want to completely avoid this injury, you’ll do these simple stretches on a daily basis.

Since this injury involves your gripping (forearm) muscles, it makes sense to do the standard forearm stretches where you hold your arm straight out and pull your fingers back and hold, then pull your fingers down and hold. Simple stretch you may have done before, but for golfers elbow they are a must.

4. Use That Tennis Ball. One of the easiest ways to improve forearm strength is to repeatedly grip a rubber ball. Whether it be a tennis ball, racquet ball, or some other smallish rubber ball. Have it at your desk and squeeze that sucker all day long!

These may seem like a simple exercise that has no magic, but it truly works if you do it consistently. For maximum results, squeeze the ball first then do you stretches.

There you have it ! A simple system to cure golfers elbow pain. If you have any other exercises, stretches or methods, please chime in via comment below and let us know.
